Giving the Gift of Kindness

Kindness shouldn’t be delegated to a day, but the current headlines beg to differ. Kindness seems to be lacking if you let 24-hour news media inform you.

Thankfully this isn’t the truth. While today may be National Kindness Day. Everyday we should spread kindness around like we breathe air.Kindness is really just small gestures that add up to a great impact. You don’t have to pay off someone’s mortgage, you can buy a stranger coffee ☕️. Leave someone a nice note just to say thank you.

Kindness starts with you. Be kind to yourself. Speak about yourself with love. Fuel up with nutritious food. Get some fresh air. When we’re kind to ourselves it becomes so much easier to be genuinely kind to others.

Kindness isn’t complicated. Give without expecting anything in return.

“Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The kind words that we say to others have such power. Use your words to encourage others, instead of tearing them down.

Everyday we must choose to be kind to others. Putting it on the same way we put on clothes. Kindness should become apart of our daily wardrobe, something we never leave the house without.

Our kindness goes much further than we think. How often does a small gesture inspire you to do something for someone else?Today I want to throw compliments around like confetti! I want the people to feel loved. I want you to feel loved!

I’m grateful you took the time out of your day to read this! I hope you’re day is off to a great start. I hope you caught all the green lights. I hope you found an extra five dollars.

What is one act of kindness you’re going to do or have done today?
